Day 1:
Meet & greet at the hotel and drive north, visiting villages such as Shantipur, famous for silk and cotton handwoven sarees, dhotis, and jacquards of superfine quality. Continue to Baharampur for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Jalchabi / Bari Kothi.
Day 2:
Morning visit to one of India’s largest silk thread production cooperatives to witness silk extraction from silkworm cocoons and spinning of fine threads. After lunch, enjoy a city tour. Overnight in Baharampur.
Day 3:
Depart for Shantiniketan. In the afternoon, visit nearby textile villages known for batik work and Tasar silk weaving. Overnight in Shantiniketan.
Day 4:
Drive to the temple city of Bishnupur and visit local Baluchari saree weavers. Overnight stay in Bishnupur.
Day 5:
